Hi Richard / Rod

A couple of pictures taken during trails today.

The craft is running exceptionally well. Cruising an easy 20knots at 4000 Rpm.

I can’t remember when last I took out a boat that handles so well.

Although she had no load on today and the weather was reasonable we took her out and around the point into the open sea and she handled the swell

very nicely. We would still test her under various weather conditions but I think this is going to be a winner judging by her handling today.

She is highly manoeuvrable, the loading door works very well when you beach her and she is very stable even when on puts the wheel hard over at 20 knots. She comes onto the plane so swiftly that you don’t even realize it. The F115 Yammies are performing beautifully and is very economical.

She will easily do her 30+knots with them.

You guys built a very nice craft. Well done.

We will keep you updated. Give my regards to all.

Kind regards

Gert

Subject: Boat Delivery

The main attraction in going for an aluminium boat is the luxury of ordering exactly what you want. I had very specific ideas as to what my estuary boat had to deliver:

1)Taxi 8-10 people without having to use a "monster outboard"
2)Stability and a smooth ride
3)Shallow draft
4)Platform to operate throw net
5)Booze cruise/picnic layout
6)Deck layout suited to the type of fishing I enjoy - grunter drift - kob night fish - trolling
7)Value for money and durabillity
8)Different options of seating configurations
9)Livebait wells and trolling motor

The final product exceeded all my expectations - The 5,5 River Nymph with Yamaha 60Hp 4 stroke gets up on the plane with 10 adults.

During my first fishing outing we had a 50km gale with some challenging water as can be expected - the Nymph handled it beautifully and surprisingly dry if the right motor tilt was used. After 25 years of estuary fishing, I now have a boat which truely meets my needs and provide several options depending on how I set up the seating.

This is a fine taxi, fishing, booze cruising vessel in every sense.

All in all, I am delighted with my purchase - Thanks Rod and the rest of the team at Aliboats!

Best Regards

Chris Faul

To Aliboats Botswana

Dear Mike,

Thankyou for your excellent service and quality aluminum boats.
I have purchased five aluminum boats from your Company since 1994 ranging from your nippy 12 footer to the 33 foot payloader based at Nsumbu on Lake Tanganyika.

My latest being your Outback 21 footer powered with an 85 Hp Yamaha which I am using at Sepopa on the Okavango river.
This is one of the most impressive boats I have ever used, the handling, stability and speed 60 Kph with only 85 Hp is most impressive.

Dear Mike

Game Trails has been using various Aliboats products since 1984 (20 years) and we would like to take this opportunity to compliment you on the functionability and durability of your work boats.

Our oldest boat is now 20 years old and still working perfectly. When we initially bought the boat, we were skeptical about your claims of a lifespan "in excess of 20 years". However, I am pleased to report that after having transported thousands of happy Game Trails clients through the channels of the Okavango Delta, the boat is still in excellent condition, apart from a few bumps and scratches.

Here's to the next 20 years!

Yours sincerely
